The company started in 1998, now has 7 branches in Dhaka, with the latest branches launched in Uttara (Sec 6) opened in September 1, 2010, Banani (11) on 18th December 2010 and Chittagong (Afmi Plaza) on 22nd April, 2011. The main branch in Dhanmondi 27 is said to be the largest beauty salon in South Asia, serving more than 300 women at a time in an 22,000 sq ft state of the art facility. Other branches are in Gulshan 1, Gulshan 2 and Mirpur. The MD of the company, Kaniz Almas Khan, is also the editor of the country’s leading Bengali fashion based lifestyle magazine, Canvas. The magazine is a sister concern of the company, just like the men’s salon Persona Adams, the ladies’ gym Persona Health, The Spring Spa, the fully equipped modern photography studio called Studio Persona and the Persona Institute of Beauty and Lifestyle. The institute is the first of its kind and is an approved center for Ed-excel International UK to offer BTEC Diploma in Bangladesh. Persona is continuing to expand in the main areas in the capital city.
