Kurmitola General Hospital

Kurmitola General Hospital is a first service- oriented project of the civil-military partnership financed by the health ministry and supervised by the defence ministry. The Health Ministry under the supervision of the Defence Ministry constructed the 10-storey hospital on six acre lands at a cost of Taka 226.16 crore opposite to Hotel Radisson (beside the Airport Road). PM Sheikh Hasina laid the foundation stone of the Armed Forces Medical College on March 19 in 1998 during the previous spell of the Awami League government.
