King’s Confectionery (Bangladesh) Pte Ltd started its operations in Bangladesh in Feb, 2003. It’s a Bangladesh-Malaysia Joint Venture. Our first shop, located at House No. 25, Road No. 11, Block F, Banani, Dhaka has on its ground floor the salesroom and customers’ seating areas. There are indoor A/C non-smoking and smoking sections. At the back, there is out-door sitting which faces a very beautiful park. On the upper floors, we have situated our main production areas and storage rooms. All items are made fresh in-house with many of the raw materials imported monthly from overseas esp. Malaysia. We have since opened 6 other shops; in 2004 at Dhanmondi Plaza, Shop No. 114 (Ground Floor), Road No. 6, Dhanmondi R/A (Mirpur Road), Dhaka, in 2005 at Plot No. 12, Road No. 14/A, sector No. 04, Uttara, Dhaka, in 2008 at House No: 08, Sector 7, Rabindra Shoroni, Uttara Model Town Dhaka, in 2011 at 15/2 A, Rankin Street, Wari, Dhaka, in 2012 at 55,56 Shahid Selina Parvin Sarak, Mogbazar, Dhaka, in 2008 at Sekender Plaza, 815, C.D.A Avenue (1st floor), Dampara, Chittagong. We maintain high level of hygiene standard and quality control on our manufacturing processes, storage procedures, packing and product freshness. Freshly baked products are delivered in covered refrigerated truck twice daily to our shops in Dhanmondi and Uttara. Our Banani shop gets its stock replenished directly from our production unit upstairs. Our shops are managed by Bangladeshis who have been trained under our Malaysian Corporate’s Standard Operation Manual and the whole operation is overseen and managed by our Malaysian partner who is stationed permanently in Dhaka. King’s Confectionery is constantly striving to provide better quality products and new innovations in our presentation and taste in conjunction with our Malaysian Corporate office to our Bangladesh customers.
