Delta Medical College & Hospital
With the aim of producing quality doctors, the journey of Delta Medical College started in 2006 in its own campus at 26/1, Principal Abul Kashem Road Mirpur-1, Dhaka-1216 under the auspices of the Delta Hospital Ltd.
At present there are a total of 356 MBBS & BDS both male & female students studying in five batches of which 43 students are from different foreign countries. A team of qualified and dedicated full-time teachers, are entrusted to ensure proper implementation of the objectives of the curriculum . Several monitoring modalities to upgrade the students, as well as the teachers are practiced.
At present there are 324 students studying in five batches. The first batch has passed out with 75% pass record and working as Intern doctors at the attached Hospital of Delta Medical College. The college strictly adheres to the guidelines and recommendations of the regulatory bodies regarding number of teaching staff departmental criteria and other instructions.
The hospital, attached to Delta Medical College provides all kinds of diagnostic and treatment facilities including emergency and ICU & CCU services.
I express my heartiest thanks to the concerned authorities of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Director General of Health Services and University of Dhaka for their kind continual cooperation. I am grateful to all the members of Trustee Board for their dedication and support in this journey.
I do believe that the graduates of this college will maintain high moral and ethical standard towards the patients and the society to achieve the goals of health care services for people of the country
